Meet the 2023/2024 Board

Co-Chair

Kate Bowler

​Kate moved to Scituate with her husband, Mike, in 2015, and their daughter Jane is a 2nd grader this year at Jenkins. Kate works full-time as a food stylist, lifestyle blogger and has written a cookbook about entertaining in New England. Kate is also on the Scituate Library Foundation board and formerly served on the board of the Scituate Education Foundation. Outside of work and volunteering, you can usually find Kate experimenting with new recipes, planning fun neighborhood parties and hitting the beach with her family. Kate got started on the PTO volunteering for the Book Fair, and this is her first year serving on the Jenkins PTO Board. She is incredibly excited to be working with the passionate Jenkins community this year!

Co-Chair

Kerry Karpf

A Marshfield native, Kerry and her husband Josh moved to Scituate in 2016. Prior to that, she spent nearly a decade in NYC where she worked at Edelman Public Relations, managing strategic communications, media relations and event planning for major consumer lifestyle, food and beauty brands. She has two daughters - Riley is entering fourth grade and Izzy will be in second grade this year. The Karpf family also recently welcomed Piper, their new Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. Kerry is looking forward to a wonderful school year!

Co-Vice Chair

Shannon Buchanan

Shannon and her husband John fell in love with Scituate and its community spirit after spending time with friends who live here. After years of living in the Boston area, they finally made the move with their two daughters. Jordan is entering 5th grade and Gemma is entering 2nd grade. Shannon works in learning and development for a fintech company, but her favorite job is being a mom! She enjoys cooking, yoga, and spending time with family and their dog Boomer.

Co-Vice Chair

JoAnn Wislocki

Jo, a speech-language pathologist, moved to Scituate in 2015 with her husband and son, Chet, who is now in 2nd grade.  They have since added Mae (K), Jude (Erdman Preschool), and Naomi (the world's happiest baby) to the brood.  Jo has held leadership positions in Scituate Cohasset Newcomers and Neighbors as well as on various preschool boards; thus, her love of education and community building made her a perfect fit for the PTO. This is her first year serving on the Jenkins PTO Board and she is incredibly excited to meet more members of our community.  When not tooling around town in her minivan, Jo can be found on the beach or at home watching The Bachelor.

Co-Vice Chair

Landin Goff

Landin and her husband Paul moved to Scituate in 2011 and have 2 daughters, Scarlett (2nd) and Emory (1st).   Prior to that, they lived in San Francisco, Charleston, SC and Scottsdale, AZ; they were thrilled to finally settle down in our amazing seaside town.  They have loved getting to know the South Shore and have so enjoyed becoming part of our wonderful community.   Landin is the Director of Global Accounts for Charles River Laboratories and spends her days trying to sign up for MyGym or Funtastics discreetly while on a Zoom calls   Landin's oldest started at Jenkins during the first crazy COVID year so she is looking forward to finally getting to know the teachers, parents and kids in our fantastic school.   Landin cannot wait to meet all of you and contribute to the Jenkins family.

Treasurer

Anne McCracken

Anne and her husband, Ben, moved to Scituate in 2016, being drawn to its location and wanting to live closer to the ocean.  They have two children; their son Eliot who is in 2nd grade and Camille who is starting Kindergarten at Jenkins this year.  Anne currently works full time as an Inventory Analyst/Accountant for an outdoor water sports equipment manufacturer.  Anne loves being out on the ocean paddle boarding, surfing, or sailing with her family and friends.  She is so excited to serve the Jenkins community and looks forward to meeting and getting to know new families!

Recording Secretary

Sheelah Flodin

Sheelah is a South Shore native who made Scituate her permanent home in 2016 with her husband Derek and three children: Halle (7- 1st grade), Sloan (5- Erdman), and Crew (2- full blown toddler). Sheelah can be found teaching yoga at a few of the local studios, chasing after her 8 chickens and one-eyed geriatric lab, training for a local athletic endeavor, or riding bikes with her family through town. She looks forward to continuing to make Jenkins a wonderful place for our children and community.

Co-Communications Chair

Cara Williams

Cara and her husband Glyn moved back to Scituate, her hometown, in 2013 after living in Texas & Vermont. She is mom to Nash (3rd grade), Maisie (2nd grade), Lennox (Pre-K) and the family's Siamese rescue kitty George. Cara works as a bookkeeper part-time in the Harbor. She is currently serving as Treasurer for the Friends of Scituate FACTS. If she is not chauffeuring children, you can also find her hanging by any body of water, ordering iced coffees and reading.  She loves to travel with her family, and explore new places.

Co-Communications Chair

Kim Clark

Kim is a bookkeeper at a local company in the harbor. She and her husband, Jeff, moved to Scituate in 2015 to be closer to family and the water. They have a son, Andrew, in the 3rd grade. When not working, you can find Kim DIYing anything and everything, organizing things for fun, or driving around town with the family in the Willy’s Jeep.
